Injury & Illness Prevention Plan

Your company needs an Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) to lay out its basic safety policies for all company staff as well as visitors and clients. This should be a very simple plan and give your Safety Management Department a tool by which they can effectively manage the safety concerns of your company.

Ergonomic Evaluation & Plans

If employees are suffering repeated back injuries from improper lifting or if employees who spend long hours on the computer are suffering from neck or wrist pain, perhaps your company can make a few changes to the work environment to minimize these injuries. A combination of Ergonomic Evaluations and a written Ergonomics Plan might be helpful in facilitating these important changes.

Respiratory Protection Program

A Respiratory Protection Plan will lay out the types of respirators and other protection measures your company employs to minimize employee exposure to airborne contaminants that pose a risk to employees via inhalation.

Personal Protective Equipment Plan

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) include the items worn by personnel that are designed to protect them from various hazards in the workplace. Your company should have a plan which outlines when and where PPE should be worn on the job and what types of equipment are available to employees at your company.

Hearing Conservation Plan

Once your employees are exposed to average noise levels above 85 Decibels any company must have a Hearing Conservation Plan. This plan will detail training requirements, as well as hearing testing protocols for employees. It should also explain the protection measures your company will take to minimize employee and visitor exposure to excessive noise.

Hazard Communication Program

Any company which has ANY hazardous material on-site must have a Hazard Communication (Haz-Com) plan, which explains to employees and visitors the types of chemicals your company has as well as your company’s policies for maximizing the safety of working with and around these chemicals.

Emergency Action Plan

An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) details what employees and visitors to your company should do in the event of fires, earthquakes, and other emergency situations.

Emergency Response Program

If your company expects its employees to respond to Haz-Mat Emergencies, your companies must not only provide training for your employees, but also have a written Emergency Response Plan, which explains proper protocols for the response.

Training Management

Your company should have REGULAR safety meetings; we recommend at least once every month. If you need help determining the topics that should be covered and how best to schedule those sessions we can help.

Confined Space Program

A confined space is one which someone can enter, has limited means in or out, and was designed for something other than human occupancy. A Permit-Required Confined Space has an additional hazard which poses a serious risk of injury to employees or visitors. If you have these types of spaces, you need a Confined Space Plan. If you are unsure if you have any of these spaces, we can help you identify them.

Safety Inspections

Safety Inspections are a critical tool to help you determine where your company is strong in safety precautions as well as areas where your company needs improvement. We can help with this process by providing very basic Evaluations or more in-depth Inspections.

Lockout-Tagout Program

If your employees work on or around any equipment which may, through release of electrical, kinetic (movement) or pressure or substance-related (materials in piping or other containers) energy you need a Lockout/Tagout Plan.

Custom Programs

If you have something out of the ordinary or very specialized we might be able to help you develop a customized plan which will help minimize accidents and injuries.

Fall Protection Program

If your company asks its employees to work above 6 feet off of the ground you need a Fall Protection Plan, which will describe all of the equipment and training required to minimize the number and severity of accidents and injuries resulting from falls.
